Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my blog. I created Spirit of Motorsport because of my love for all things automotive. I’m probably just like all of you other car enthusiasts out there, going to car meets, shows, drift events, and races. I want to grow my knowledge of motorsports and its history with this blog. All while providing awesome coverage of the latest and greatest builds and events in the industry.
Just some info about me, I’ve loved cars and I grew up around them. Here’s a shot of my dad’s ’95 GTI from a Super Street shoot, that he totaled on the way home from.
I always had cars around me to the point that when I was 4, I was able to name every make of every car in a parking lot. At 17, I got a 1995 Nissan 240sx. My dad and I have done some work to it like coilovers and wheels, among some other things. I still have the car today and if possible I plan to keep her my whole life.
I’m also a crew member of a race team, RJ Racing. We mostly focus on endurance racing with our last event being the grueling 25 Hours of Thunderhill. It rained for at least 7 hours, tempratures went down to ~35 degrees in the middle of the night and I only got 2 hours of sleep the whole time but it was an amazing experience. Here’s our Miata that got 3rd in class at that race.
Thanks for checking out the site and look forward to more content coming very soon.
Thanks to my mom, dad, and girlfriend for supporting me to do this!
